Microsoft have announced that on 1 April 2023 they will be adjusting their prices for all Microsoft 365 products to ensure that there are all aligned globally.

For UK customers, this means a 9% increase (which is the lowest across Europe).

How does this affect your business?

How the price increase will affect your business will depend on the type of Business Central subscription you are on:

1. Your business is on an NCE Annual Subscription SKU

If you are on an NCE Annual Subscription SKU and your next renewal is after 1 April 2023, your next renewal will include the 9% price increase. To avoid the price increase for 36 months, your business can switch to the NCE 36 Month Subscription prior to 1 April 2023 and this will be applied at the following renewal date.

2. Your business is on an NCE Monthly Subscription SKU

These subscriptions will see the 9% increase applied immediately from 1 April 2023. To avoid the price increase for, your business can switch to either an NCE Annual Subscription SKU or an NCE 36 Month Subscription SKU.

3. Your business is on an NCE Monthly Flexi Subscription SKU

These subscriptions will see the 9% increase applied immediately from 1 April 2023. Your business can avoid this increase by switching to either an NCE Annual Subscription SKU or an NCE 36 Month Subscription SKU. Please note that if you move to either of these SKUs, your business will no longer have the flexibility to increase or decrease your licence numbers on a monthly basis.

4. You are on any other non NCE and legacy cloud SKU

Your business will be on the 36 Month Non-NCE SKU (as communicated in Jan 2022). This means that your licence costs are protected until the end of this 36-month period. Your licence costs will only increase once this 36-month period has lapsed.
