L’Art du Vin is a wine company based in Dalgety Bay, Fife. The company started out with four employees in a small warehouse in Edinburgh in 2007. It has grown over the years and, as a result, they moved into to their own larger warehouse in Fife in 2010. L’Art du Vin are now a team of 11. Most of their customers are restaurants and hotels from all over the UK, but mainly Scotland and the North of England. They also have an online shop for private clients.
Making a move to Bevica, powered by Business Central
Prior to deploying Bevica, L’Art du Vin used various Sage products. However, about a year ago, they were advised by Sage that the solution they used was being discontinued. It was at this point that they decided to look at alternative industry specific options. Following a recommendation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Bevica from another wine company, Valerie MacDonald, L’Art du Vin’s Finance Manager made contact with TVision about a move to Bevica.
Valerie MacDonald commented: “The whole process of our Bevica installation went very smoothly with no issues apart from our internal level of expertise. This was due to us, not the available training shared by the Bevica team. We have all learned a great deal from working on the live platform as well as the detailed information that is available to us on the Bevica training portal.
“Any questions we had have all been answered very quickly and easily explained by Nicola Bourne from the Bevica team. This has made the process of change so much easier.”
Now that L’Art du Vin has successfully installed Bevica, their plans are to integrate it with Shopify and Podfather to make their business even more streamlined.
