On Thursday, 2 December, the Bevica team had the great pleasure of joining over 100 winners of the 2021 Global Spirits Masters awards at the competition’s annual Awards Lunch at the Crypt in Ely Place, London.
The Spirits Masters is an annual series of competitions covering the beverage industry’s main spirit categories. During the Awards Lunch, the winners of this year’s Global Spirits Masters, including the Grand Spirits Masters from each spirit category and this year’s overall Grand Spirits Master 2021 were awarded their certificates and prizes.
Bevica sponsors the 2021 Gin Masters
In 2021, Bevica had the great honour of sponsoring the Gin Masters category. In this year’s competition, the Gin Masters selected the world’s top 46 gins out of a total of approximately a thousand entries. The submissions were so numerous that it took two separate judging sessions, one in June and another in October to get through all of them. The top award in this category, Taste Master, went to Elephant Gin for Elephant Strength Gin, 57% ABV.
Amongst the other Gin Masters winners were Silent Pool Distillers who have been working with the Bevica software solution since August 2018. Their Silent Pool Gin achieved a Gold Medal in the Super Premium category while the Silent Pool Rose Expression Gin and Silent Pool Rare Citrus Gin both received Silver Medals in the same category.
